Cleansing a house?

I'm having a problem. I recently moved in with my cousins out of state. They have 4 children (ranging from 18 months to 14 years). Since they first moved here, they've had misfortune after misfortune, almost losing 3 of their 4 kids. Once we moved into the house we're in now, I started noticing something was wrong. Always having a feeling of dread. Paranoia. Having panic attacks. Black outs but remaining conscious, just missing chunks out of the day. Then I started seeing spirits. I've always seen and felt things, but more of an out of the corner of my eye deal. When we got here, I began seeing them straight on, hearing them speaking, even having discussions with them. They were pleasant at first. Then I started seeing a shadow form. Each time he would appear, I'd quickly become drained. Absolutely exhausted. I get really moody. Paranoia kicks in full time. Then once he leaves, I'm fine. But he went from just appearing to pestering me. Kind of teasing me. He'll peek around a corner or a doorway and just watch. I'll ask him to leave and he'll just get closer. I'll command him to leave, and he'll remain behind me.

I've considered burning sage, but the more I thought about it, the more I questioned how well anything will work. I don't know if I'm powerful enough to rid him. He seems a very strong presence. If anyone has any input on what I could do to rid the house of any malevolent spirits or whatever he is...possibly to weaken him first? I would really appreciate it. It's very important that I cleanse the house because of the children here. I'm not sure if it has been the cause of their consistent misfortune and it has followed them into this house, it just finally has someone who can see it, but I need it to be gone.

While I was almost done typing this, the browser closed itself, heh...It's not too happy right now.

Yes, do a spiritual cleansing of your house. You may want to enlist the help of a professional especially if you live in an urban area and have access to reputable and expereinced workers. You do have to pay them, though, and this is the kind of work you can at least start out doing yourself.

Google "spiritual cleansing" and also try looking up "floorwash" on www.LuckyMojo.com. If you go to my website that's listed on my profile, you will also find how-to articles with recipes for such work - look under the spiritual cleansing tab.

Basically, you want to remove anything that feels "bad," including clutter and any trash, especially stuff that collects in corners and under furniture. Then do a thorough regular cleaning.

Find a recipe for a cleansing floorwash that you like. Some will contain such common ingredients like salt, ammonia, Florida Water, holy water, cooking herbs like Basil, etc. Prepare it according to the recipe, pray over it, and then systematically and prayerfully wash every floor and piece of wood (door frames, floor moulding, window frames, etc.). Spray the solution through a spray bottle if you have wall-to-wall carpet. Fumigate the house with cleansing incense while you work. Have the windows and doors open to let the bad out. You may choose to repeat this cleaning ritual every day for three, five, or seven days.

The second step is to put up protections and blessings for the home and its inhabitants. There are a million ways to do this. You can light candles in every room, you can create a protection altar and hang protection mojo bags above the doors, you can feng shui your home, you can place herbs and powders down, you can use another protective floorwash after the cleansing floorwash, burn incense, place salt down on your front door, put camphor squares in every corner of every room, you can anoint every wooden surface with a magical oil, etc. Do a little research and your options will spread out in front of you.

You can also look up double-action candles and their use for removing bad luck and then inviting in good luck. I love them, and i have an article or two on my website detailing their usage.

Good luck. The thing about this kind of work is that you should get relief immediately after doing the work, but you will likely have to keep it up, repeating the work at some interval, like a cleaning floorwash followed by burning a peaceful house candle every new moon or something. Find a technique you can do comfortably and make it into a ritual.

I think LdyGry covered it all. I would just add:

-try burning dragon's blood resin on activated charcoal
-cleaning with 4 Thieves Vinegar (you can make it, just Google it and you'll find a ton of recipes), or putting it in a spray bottle and spraying around your house.
