healthy chakra

there are 7 chakra points on your body and stones to use with each ...a healthy chakra makes you feel good. gives you energy and your aura will be glowing! if you chakra vortexes get dirty and clogged i can lead to other health problems, example if your heart chakra is not working properly it can lead to heart problems...also another good way to clean and heal you chakras is lavender bath salts or lavender bath oil-- put in your bathtub--i usually like to soak 20 minutes,/ it is a good investment into yourself to buy a set of chakra stones--- and keep some lavender and salt( or sea salt) around, it comes in handy if you do get sick or pick up a germ/
the 7 chakras and their corresponding stones are....
crown-amethyst stone
third eye-lapis lazuli stone
throat- sodalite stone
heart- rose quarts stone
breastbone- citrine quartz crystal stone
navel- carnelian stone
base of spine- hematite stone

Serpentfire I think that's just a minor detail not included. All you ever find about chakras is the major 7 on the body, sometimes 10 to 14 when you include ones above the head and near the hands and stuff. If you'd like to list these other chakras and their positions and attributes, please do so. It's a bit rude to correct someone without providing your own information.

I like to use this chakra chart:

http://www.aurorawellness.net/chakrachart.html

It deals with music, color, organs, all kinds of stuff. And it's pretty :3

actually the earth star and such are all minor chakras, some people say 11 and 14 yes but some also state that there are only 7 major and the others are also minor ones earth star and pineal gland are counted as major chakras on some sites, and others they are not, who to believe?

The pineal glad chakra is the third eye, and I'm pretty sure that is definitely one of the major ones. If it is omitted from a list of ''major chakras'' the author should explain why, or at least have some corresponding substitute. I have seen a very condensed diagram of only 3 chakras: lumping the throat, third eye, and crown into one (in the position of the crown, or the whole head in general), lumping the heart, solar plexus, and sacral into one (on the solar plexus), and the base as its own thing. I think that was more for beginners, as chakra positions are often used in acupuncture. And if you've seen acupuncture pictures, they stick you all over according to energy lines and crossings, chakras, and just intuition.

I have seen the ''earth star'' chakra in diagrams usually when the ''higher crown chakra'' is shown. I would call it a very important chakra, but it being not directly connected to the body is why I think it is omitted from the ''majors''.

I found this little web page, discussing 16 chakras:

http://www.working4spirit.co.uk/aboutchakra.html

I think the positioning on their picture is a bit off... the ones outside the body should be farther away. I always go with the ''the earth star chakra is positioned 12 inches from the feet'' rule of thumb, because sometimes people place the base chakra right between the feet. I always go with the lower-back positioning philosophy, as I haven't been able to feel a chakra between my feet but I have felt one at the base of my spine.

i just stated as i saw it, i know the pineal glad is directly in position of the third eye, for some reason they separated it. And i saw the earth star below the root chakra. These ppl should just stick with 7 , i have been using these for about 4 yrs or 5yrs now and no probs, no need to add more. LOL

Serpentfire: FASCINATING! Have you written anything up about this, or can you recommend any books? I plan to take my Reiki 1 in the spring (when I'm done school for the year), so I'm sure I'll learn more about the Chakras then. For now, I know the main 7 that people learn the most about. I'd love to expand my knowledge on that!
