Hi Pikarica,

I have been studying and practicing Wicca for nearly 40 years now, and I've been High Priestess of a real-life coven and now a Tradition since 1996. I'm always glad to try to help out those who are genuinely seeking to follow the Wiccan religion. So please feel free to ask me questions at any time.

Here's some threads on this site that are good places to start out:

As for books and websites, one has to take care as theire are a lot of very unreliable sources out there. Here are some suggestions that I would make:

To start with, here are some books that I would suggest.

  • ''A Witch Alone'' by Marian Green
  • ''The Elements of Ritual'' by Deborah Lipp
  • "Wicca" by Thea Sabin
  • "The Heart of Wicca" by Ellen Cannon Reed
  • ''Wicca; A Year and a Day'' by Timothy Roderick

Here's some websites that you may find useful in helping you with questions.

And if you are looking for possible groups with which to study (And in my opinion this is the best way to learn, face-to-face. then check out the listings at The Witches' Voice at http://www.witchvox.com They have listings there for grouops and individuals by country, and for the USA then by state.
