Upcoming Full Moon
By:
I am working on a ritual for the next full moon (June 20th), which is Midsummer/Summer Solstice (also the best day to harvest mistletoes) and in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius. According to my research, the full moon will begin at 6:02 a.m. (my time Central). The zodiac sign is also in course of transition, because it enters Capricorn at 6:55 a.m..

I would assume that I would have to do my spell work a couple of days before if it corresponds with that particular zodiac.

My question is, would the exact time of the full moon be considered a moon void? Also, how could I calculate the time the zodiac signs actually begin to transition?

The moon will be void of course on June 20 from 2:11 AM Eastern Time until 1:38 PM Eastern Time. This site will give you the days that the moon is void of course and the times involved http://www.drstandley.com/Void_of_Course_Moon_Calendar_2016.shtml If you don't live in the Eastern Time Zone you'll need to adjust for where you are. There is a time zone convrter on the link I gave you.

And yes, if you are doing a spell which corresponds to the sign of the Zodiac from which the moon will pass on the 20th, you would want to do your spell a day or so beforehand.
