Holding the bowl

I was doing research on ways to honor Sigyn. I've been praying to Her for almost 3 weeks now? An interesting offering I've come across is to hold the bowl. We all know what that means and why we would hold the bowl for Her.

But how would I go about doing that? I have a bowl set on Sigyn/Loki's altar for an offering bowl sort of thing. Would I just take the bowl and hold it above the altar for an amount of time? Insight is much appreciated and thank you for reading this!

You could hold the bowl for a certain amount of time, but personally, I'd like something a little less literal and more to the point of why she holds the bowl in her deep love and loyalty. I actually cried when I first read about her because she is everything I failed to be in the past. I think a good way to honor her would also to cherish your family and learn from her suffering in order to care for others. Learn the sacrifices she had to make. Learn to love deeply. Learn to perservere in times of hardship.

You may also wish to honor her by finding ways to help parents who have to mourn their children. Be someone who is there for them, because there is no "getting over" lost loved ones.

Even today she has a strong and very powerful presence in my eyes.

Eissys got a great idea with honoring your family .... I really like your holding the bowl idea too, like if you hold it till your arms don't work anymore....Then She could hold her beloved for a bit....
