Not many people on here take people as apprentices or students. There are many resources on this site from the forums and articles that can help you. Somebody can teach you things, but it is your job to do the learning. It is also your job to have common sense when asking people to be your teacher/mentor and taking great care to make sure you have found someone worth your time, that is patient, and they aren't a fluffy. It is also good to decide when something is actual magick and when something is just plain old ridiculous or possibly dangerous.
Secondly, some more experienced practitioners won't accept the term "black" or "white" magick (or any other color you wish to label it), because magick does not have a color; it is all in the caster/worker of the magick's intent. Intent is everything.
Great starting subjects to start learning if you are new is: Meditation, visualization, grounding, centering, energy manipulation, what magick is and isn't, and then you can widen yourself to anything of your interests.
You can also consider joining one of the many on line covens, like the Black Cross (which I think is fabulous, by the way :)). Visit the live chat once in a while to meet new people and to ask questions or share ideas. Or just talk to people in general and don't be afraid to ask questions in the forums (but make sure your question hasn't already been answered first; personally, I find it kind of annoying when I see tons of the same posts in the forums each day by the newbies that haven't bothered to look it up first). That should be enough to get you started, for now. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. If I don't know the answer I am sure there are plenty of other members that will. Good luck and blessed be! :)
