Seeing lights (mediation)

Has anyone else ever saw random light whilst meditating. They don't appear straight away but after 5-10 minutes of meditating. I can see them if I open my eyes in a trance but only if its dark.
To describe them I would say that they randomly appear, "dance" around for a few seconds, then fade away also I've only really seen blue, green and whit ones.
So could someone tell me if they had any experiences with these and if the know what they are.
Thanks!

It could be your eyes getting tired.

Yeah that is likely. I never thought of it that way.
Thanks for the post. :)

Also, a possibility, the random lights could also be your eyes freshly open with a little third-eye help so you can see some of the energies that play around you. I have that happen a bit too, especially when I can feel the buzz of chi from really cutting loose on chakra work, ground and center. It sounds like you and I might be at a similar stage, and as long as we don't yield to skepticism the forward direction can lead us to see much more than what our fingers can touch. I hope your time in the beginning is much less than my own.

Maybe the third eye is half open and is gradually getting to the point where it's fully open. From my research it only mentions people who have their third eye from closed to fully open straight away but me and you might develop in a slower way instead of just having the third eye snap open.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this happening to them. Maybe the colours show what type of energy they are. I hope your thrift eye opens for you because mine seems to be taken its time.
Anyway, thanks for the info! :)
