well it depends on how you interpret the cards. an example would be "will I become rich?". if yes I would pull something lke the king of cups (rider waite cards)

That's the thing with tarot cards. They dance around the answer to your question, not giving a definite answer, but deciding the outcomes.

I would spread out the deck face down. And pull a card I feel drawn to. If it is right side up, it is a yes. If it is reversed, it is a no. Then you look at the card's image to figure out the reason for why. If you get a reversed image for no, flip it right side up to figure out the reason why first.

This is the method I was taught and have seen several professional readers use the same technique.

It is simple, if you understand what the card means(positive or negative association) and/or how it relates the the question, you will be able to derive whether the answer is a yes or a no. I have had much success doing simple yes or no readings with my deck. I generally do a one card reading as I find it more insightful to look at the card's significance in regards to the bigger picture sometimes.
Good luck to you with your future readings.

Anything that feels like it'll work for you. I like the idea of the reversed/not reversed card being pulled. Just whatever you feel like will work
