Brand new and uncertain

Hi all. My "knowledge" goes as far as the interest i have. I have been reading this site top to bottom. Can i just became a witch or wiccan etc by learning and practicing, or is it a more of a generic thing? How do i get into this?

Wicca is a religion based in witchcraft. Witchcraft is a way of life. Anybody can learn either one. I practice aspects of witchcraft, sorcery and wizardry. :-) Welcome to the site.

I personally would not read these forums, I would seek knowledge from a reliable source, if you search amazon for books you can read reviews to know what to expect for the area you wish to research. If you join one of the more serious covens on this site you will probably learn a lot there....I'm not going to name any names, but if a coven lets anybody in you will be conversing with all types. This is not an insult but a fact.

Whilst there are some knowledgeable people on this site and I do come across posts I admire every now and again there is just so much false information and fluff.

I suggest you start by getting familiar with your own energy.
