A Grimore and a Book of Shadows are the same thing, just synonyms for each other, while a spell book can mean multiple things.
In a Grimore, you write power thoughts, your own written spells, rituals, articles, essays, studies, and results of spells.

Actually the Book of Shadows and the Grimoire are not the same thing.

The Grimoire is a medieval term for a book of spells and rituals, pretty much the same as a spellbook.

A Book of Shadows is more like a Witch's personal diary in which they might write down dreams they've had, herb lore, meditations, rituals, spells, tables of correspondence, visions, and anything else they wish to have a record of for future use.
