Magic Languages

I wanna start learning a Magic language, but I'm not sure which one and I don't know much about them besides DictaDictum. Which I plan on learning in 4 years. So can anyone suggest some languages to learn? I am slightly interested in Enochian..

well if you want to get into enochian then you may want to learn ancient Hebrew and latin.

most modern grimoires will use the Hebrew words but they will be phonetically spelled out in English.

i think that enochian and qabala are amazing paths to follow, take your time and really get into the process. it is so worth it.

Good luck!

latin is such a beautiful language and it really resonates with some people. to say it is "dead" really does it little justice

asperges me hyssopo, et mundabor; lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor

I think what they mean by there is no Magick language QuinnAutumn3 is that, contrary to the belief that some people hold that certain languages such as Latin will make your spells more effective when it is more so true that it is your personal preference of what language to do. Magick comes from many cultures and languages so a certain language being used will only affect the effectiveness of a spell if that language makes it easier for you to cast in. Some people just don't know any second language and don't have the time, resources, or capability to catch onto new things like that so it can be tough. But learning a language that has Magick roots may also help personally strengthen your journey, and get in touch with certain cultures that you are a part of or deeply study. All in all, it isn't absolutely necessary to learn some fancy language like that but if it makes you happy then go for it.
