Hearing Music

Hello! Last night I went to bed. A few minutes later, a song began to play faintly. It was a flute. It was calming me but I kept wondering where does it come from. There wasn't anything what could produce a sound like that. I got up and looked around the room. It was strange, the curtains moved a second before stopping back in the same spot as they were. I thought somebody or something was there. But it didn't feel bad anyway. And this isn't the first time it happened either. I recall hearing the sound of harps last year. But back then, I asked my mom if she heard anything and she said not. I'm curious as what does it mean.

I remembered that the first one was a trumpet. That is the order in which I heard them. A trumpet, harps and last night a flute. What does it mean? And where do they come from?

Sounds, like someone is opening a door. It is said that instruments/music have an affinity toward the elements. Even the Catholic church once wished to reserve music for the church/gods works.

I don't know if this will help, but some people who are psychic receive their information through sound, just as other people may receive it through the other remaining senses. It could be a spirit who is trying to make their presence known through music.

Likewise, there are also many myths involving music and the fae that may be worth looking into. I myself heard strange, unearthly bells in my backyard when beginning to research faerie magick. I don't know if there was any connection, but it seems like it may have been the same type of experience you had.
