List of local herbs

Alright guys, it's good to see alot of old friends are still active. Basically, my lone work that I spent on herbal medicines, tribal remedies, etc. Did not leave me with alot of results. Any websites that you guys know or recipes that you know right off your head would be nice. Also, I would like to kindof center the recipes around healing creams, headache cures, just common day ailments. Thanks again guys.

Wow cannot believe I forgot to add the purpose of the title in there, haha. I would like the herbs that you guy have in the recipes to be common in the tri-states area (Iowa, Missouri, Illinois)

I would recommend the books by Anke Bialas, if you are looking for herbal remedies. There are two of them that I have for my kindle: Homemade Health - Home remedies your grandmother knew - Simple & effective treatments from the pantry (Herbology At Home) and Making Herbal Remedies (Herbology At Home) . Both are very informative and offer information on easy obtainable herbs, such as bails, thyme, sage, etc.

http://www.gardensablaze.com/Herbs.htm < This site is also very informative and helpful. If I remember correctly, it discusses the herbs and various ways that they can be used both magically and medically. I've found that the search option on the site isn't all that great, however. If you go to your google search bar and type in gardens ablaze, medicinal uses of (name of herb) it will pop up a link to the herb information that you want.

These are a few good ones that I know of, but if you do a google search on herbs in your area, you should pull up a few good sites on your interests.

chipmunk tail, also known as yarrow, is good for cuts and heals them with barely a scar left.
