I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, but is there any way to play a song on an instrument that will actually slowly put somebody to sleep?

I'd suggest something slow and beautifull like rock-a-bye baby.

Do you mean to force someone to sleep slowly, or just boost them wanting to sleep?

I recommend slow songs with more rythym than lyrics. That always helps me, but I'm sure everyone is different.

In Norse magick, specifically galdr, there is a type of lullaby magick that is basically a sung spell with the intentions of putting someone to sleep. These tend to be accompanied with slow drum beats, soft melodies, and repetitive rhythms. They can be very beautiful.

Like in Harry Potter when they put a spell on the harp to make the beast sleep or like getting a baby to go to sleep kind of spell?

Well in a way I mean to play a song on a woodwind instrument, such as a flute, that will make somebody tired and eventually to the point of sleeping. I'm going to guess a song for gradually making somebody tire to the point of sleep.
