Chakra

I understand a bit of Chakra and energy but not a lot can someone explain about chakra please?

There are 7 main chakras. There are more within and many many many more without the body.

These act as energy sources for the body.

The main seven are the root, the sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. These go from the area anterior to the tailbone to the top of the forehead.

Root:
-usually colored as red
-located between anus and genitals

Sacral:
-usually colored as orange
-located about an inch below the belly button

Solar Plexus:
-usually colored as yellow
-located at the base of the sternum

Heart:
-usually colored as green
-located in the chest area

Throat:
-usually colored as blue
-located at the bottom of the throat

Third Eye:
-usually colored as indigo
-located in the center of the forehead

Crown:
-usually colored as violet
-located at the top of the head
