Is it real love?

Is love real when some one is under a spell or is it just the spell and not the actual person. I have thought about this since seeing an old episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer where Warren the leader of the 3 nerds used magic on his ex if you saw it you know what happend this makes those spells almost taboo for me but I also have heard and read that the spell just releases whats already there. Which is true?

I guess it would depend on whether the person had any love for the significant other to begin with. I believe that it's possible to use magick to increase the amount of love for somebody, but not to create it. Simply put, you can help bring out one's emotion, but you cannot produce genuine feelings.

Love spells work on the actual love a person has in their heart to begin with. Love spells will not turn a cold fish into a cassanova. Love spells will not turn a well-adjusted person into an obsessive stalker.
