Reading Tarot Cards
By:
Here lately I have been toying around with the idea of buying me a set of Tarot Cards...I just feel that I would be good at it bc I have always had psychic inate gifts (Empathy, Precognition, Telekinesis (only has happened twice),Telepathy, Dream interpretation, can feel/hear spirits) that I think would allow me to excel in the area of Tarot reading.

However, I do not really have ne idea on how to begin practicing with Tarot cards. Of course, the first step would be to buy a deck that you are drawn too, but what after that? I would appreciate ne tips...

I have gone through many decks looking for the one that is just right for me, and I suppose I have an odd experience: my most accurate and easy to use (for me) decks are decks where I don't particularly like the artwork. I can't deny that they work well, but I'm still searching for that absolutely perfect deck, lol. Just pick up one you are drawn to and start with that. There's nothing wrong with giving a deck away or buying another. When you find your perfect match I suppose you'll settle on that. I have had at least 8 decks that I can remember off the top of my head and I really only use 2 now.

You can buy companion books to the deck you choose. Decks come with a little pamphlet telling you basic stuff about the cards and it usually gives you a spread or two. The companion books are like separate books you buy that are supposed to be more in depth, but I've never bought one and my reading has improved just fine.

You can meditate with the deck, or make your own rituals for when you read. Some people say to look through them all thoroughly before use to get to know the pictures and the feel of each card. Also, really really look at each card and see what it means for you, along with the book definition. Look for symbolism (or lack of) in the art.

If you have any specific questions please ask!

Also: You will want to clearly define what it is you are seeking insight on. If you just pull cards "just because" or "just to see", you won't know what area they really apply to. Writing your own spreads is easy enough and it helps to personalize the energy. Try reading for yourself on some mundane things and take the time to live through a few readings (meaning, give yourself time to see if they 'come true') before reading for others, and take the time to look within yourself with them. It doesn't always have to be about seeing the future; you can explain the past and figure out the present.

And be aware that once you read, you put new information out there that you may not have been aware of previously. You now can act upon that and a reading can become completely void, depending on how you act. Don't ever take it for face value, always look deeper!

The only issue I struggle with tarot cards is once you get the knoweldge. Like for example. My sister is moving back home and. I know she's going to disrupt the harmoney which. I set my life by. I threw the card to see what's going to happen b4 its restored. What I inturepated was some one was getting burned. Some ones emotions are getting released and some ones going to cry. What exactly I'm I sapose to do with that knoweldge

You do whatever you see fit. You can either let it take its course or attempt to change the outcome somehow. When you know the forces at play you can better defend yourself.
