Central is up and running, here is a few FAQ'S from my website and lessons

1.) What is the Mandrake root used for?
Ans- is use for crude resemblance to the human figure, for magical purposes however, it is commonly used for amplifying spells and bringing forth new insight into most magical dilemas

2.) What are Rose Hips used for?
Ans- Rose hips are used externally in oil form to restore firmness to skin by nourishing and astringing tissue. Due to the Vitamin packed rose hips the magical purposes range from protection of the physical body and mind, to the actual healing aspects of the like.

3.) Sage is used all the time in Wicca for what purpose?
Ans- White sage inperticular is commonly used for smudging and cleansing though it holds other purposes too, such as banishing negativity

4.) Honey can cure what ailments?
ans- Honey is thought to help in the aide of curing everything from headaches, sore throats and ear infections to the helping of preventing infections of open wounds and ringworm due to it's antiseptic properties.

5.) What are the gods and goddess'?

Ans- They are "superior beings", commonly refered to as the Lord and Lady, but depending on which pantheon (egpytian, norse, celtic etc etc) these gods and goddess' can be called by different names and used for different purposes such as Spell casting, ritual use, and sometimes even to just get a little insight and guidance on a problem that is troubling you.

6.)What is the Wiccan Rede in the 8 words that sum it up?

Ans- An it Harm None do What Thou Wil

7.)When casting a circle what do you call?

Ans- Depending on what you follow there are the corners, elements or the watchtowers, but all represent the same thing

8.) What are a few things that are used on the altar?

ans- there are many things that can be placed on one's altar. these range from the chalice, athame, Candles, pictures, spells, spellbook or Book of Shadows, to incense, flowers, colors to represent what you are doing based on a holiday, and even stones and semi-precious stones you've come across of the years. However, these are the physical and tangible things, an altar, spell and ritual can all be done in the minds eye through creative visualization, and is commonly done by the young and those who can not afford to by physical representations of these needed things
9.)What is Karma?

Ans- karma is best summed up as If you send it out, it will come back and this is in relation to energy positive or negative

10.) Why do we use psychic shields?

ans- to protect ourselves from outside forces such as spirits or others who wish us ill harm. A psychic shield can be as simple and a protection spell or an actual barrier made of energy manipulated by our minds.

11.)What is the Sacred Space?

Ans- A sacred space is also refered to as the "circle". A sacred space is a place that is quiet and will protect you from outside influences and separates you from time and space to do your magical workings in a safe and constructive environment

12.)What is the difference between a Boline and an Athame?

ans- a boline is a white handled knife Commonly used strictly for cutting herbs during rituals, where as, an athame is used for directing energy and is a black handled knife.

13.)What is lavender used for?

Ans- Lavender is a sweet smelling purple flower commonly used to ease tension and headaches, but can be used for spell workings that deal with dreams and healing due to the calming effect it has on most people.

14.)What is the Wheel of the Year?

The wheel of the year is also known as the Witch's Calendar. It is composed of all the holidays (Sabbats and Esabbats), along with the dates.
Yule (Winter Solstice):(re)birth Date: approx. Dec. 21

Imbolc (Candlemass): quickening Date:February 1 (beginning at sundown)

Ostara (Spring Equinox): emergence Date: approx. March 21st

Beltane (May Day): growth Date: April 30 (beginning at sundown)

Midsummer (Summer Solstice):fruition Date: approx. June 21st

Lughnasadh (Lammas):releasing Date:July 31 (beginning at sundown)

Mabon (Autumnal Equinox):harvest Date: approx. Sept. 21

Samhain (Halloween):death Date: October 31

15.)What is a familiar?

Ans- A familiar is a "witch's" guide through their magical life. This guide can be an animal, a spirit, or even a tree. The purpose of the said guide is to lead the witch through the events that unfold and bloom into the new life of living magically.

Silver on Ostara it is not alwase on the 21st of March. This year it is on the 20th. I may be wrong but that is what google said.
