ex a necromancer

I've been divorced for ten years, and remarried for almost ten. My ex, who I and my kids haven't seen in all that time was very much into necromancy. My question is, what, if any kinds of supernatural holds, persuasions or attachments could he still have on us? He had mentioned something when we were married about how divorce breaks some sort of spiritual connection? I had never given this much thought until a few yrs ago, right after my daughter was baptized into the LDS church, she claimed one night someone was calling her, and she felt a sense of sadness and anger by her bedroom door. When this happened, is when I started thinling about what he might be able to do. Anyone got any ideas?

Also, would it affect one parents spiritual connection to their kid if they had their parental rights terminated, and the kids names changed to that of their stepdad? Or do court issues have zero to do with this?

As above, so below. A simple phrase that is the basis of many forms of magick. When it comes to divorce, you aren't just creating a legal separation, you are creating a spiritual separation by saying you no longer want his spirit around yours.

Kids are a different story. They have a natural, blood bond to him that can only be broken by them. They have to spiritually reject him as you did, and on their own terms. Just because the state awards you custody does not mean that they do not love their father, or at least the romanticized memories of him. You cannot push them into it, they must find their own path.

In the mean time, there are things you can do to ward off negative energy. Look into barrier and protection spells that keep negative energy away. Help your daughter build her newfound faith as a shield to protect her. Yahweh may be kind of a prick as a god, but I have seen his handiwork and I will not completely discredit him.

Your daughter may have actually sensed something spiritual, or from her father.

You should also take into consideration the fact that she lost her father. Divorce is hard to deal with. Especially for children.

I am going through one right now and my ex says my six year old still hears me in the kitchen cleaning and cooking at times.

Do what you can to protect your children, and your home. But I would also recommend having her see a therapist if things continue. Neither could hurt, and it will give her a way to work through her issues.

By the way, necromancy is a form of spiritual divination. There is no reason to fear what someone could do magically just because they speak with the dead.

How old is your daughter? This could very well be a psychological manifestation of her having trouble with the split. Indeed, that is more likely in most cases than her hearing any sort of calling.

Coming back to the fact divorce on it's own is hard on the whole family, your kids might still feel attached to you ex husband. And that can bring on a lot of different emotions.
Court issues can effect people in mainly any way they choose to behold it.
Divorce can break a spiritual link, but so can the loss of almost any relationship, and I don't know your relationship with him personally, but it has been a long time and maybe you've both moved on?
It wouldn't hurt to ward off negative energy like VR Kage said, just remember that a relationship that you do not profit from and only makes you feel bad is not a good relationship, stay safe!!

Thanks, I'd never thought of a divorce in a spiritual light before. And I HAVE been trying to be a source of strength for her when she panics at night from hearing the voice. I don't know much about Yahweh, since it is Jesus who we actively worship, but I do occasionally feel things trying to enter and press through the angel barriers. It seems the only way they can is thru fear. Is that right?

She's 14,but it's important to know, I think, that she was only two when he was arrested and so she has no memory of him. The only reason she even knows he exists is because her brother constantly told her stories of things he witnessed as a small child himself. That might also play a role.

Yes it could be playing a role. To completly lose a parent like that is rough. Especially given she was young enough at the time that she probably does not remember him.
