Uncertainty

I have always had a strong connection to both witchcraft and Buddhism and I am finally getting around to creating an altar. My question is can I have a Buddhist statuette on my witchcraft altar or do I need to create two separate ones in order to not cause some sort of cross energy issue? Thanks in advance

Witchcraft is a practice, not a religion, and you would hopefully practice magick that is in sync with your religious beliefs. You may occasionally need to remove your Buddhist statue if you're setting the altar up for something specific which doesn't jive with the energies of your statue (like if you were to call upon a war god so you or a friend would have the force and bravery to leave an abusive relationship), but as a general rule your statue is probably just fine and isn't going to screw up the magical energies of your altar.

Witchcraft, more often than not, is a secular practice (unless you hit new age, personal, or regional forms), so there's not an issue if you practice Witchcraft while holding a certain religious view.

For example, I practice Witchcraft and religiously, I am Heathen. I'm not as well versed in Buddhism, but I think some forms at least were secular as well. Either way, there really shouldn't be an issue.

I don't follow Buddhism as a religion more as a guideline for how to live a productive life. I am very eclectic in my views and find mainstream religion too overpowering for me personally. So the Buddha for me is more of a role model and less of a deity. Does this make a difference?

It clarifies your circumstance for me. You should have no issue having a Buddhist icon on your altar.
