Candle help

Hi all, please could someone explain this for me, i haven't seen it before.
I have a 7 day bust up break up candle going (all good intentions, used sympathetic magic) and the wick is behaving strangely. When i lit it i got white smoke, the flame hasn't stopped dancing either. One of my friends let herself into my room and saw it briefly before I hid it... would that have done anything? It now has 2 days left, a bulb of soot appeared on the end and worked itself halfway down and the wick is now very long. In addition to this the top half of the wick has formed a shepherd's crook shape.

Any ideas?

Thanks x

Thats kind of like a honey jar, if you set it out and lit it it usually gets a weird flame. If i used a love spell the flame would turn into a heart. Its a good sign for whatever you casted for.

It may well be the result of the materials used in the candle and/or the wick. Inexpensive candles often contain impurities that will make soot form or may cause the flame to flicker as well. And it is quite normal for the wick to start to bend over into a crook shape as it burns. I'm rather leaning towards these explanations rather than towards it being a sign as to whether your spell is working or not.

Ok, thank you. It could be the oil I am dressing it with I suppose. My flames don't usually lie to me so I thought it was a bit odd!
