What is Incubus ?

The heading says it all. What does "incubus" mean and what is used for?

An incubus is a male entity that is summoned for the use of sexual purposes.

It also drains you.

The female version of this is called a succubus.

But I do advise not to summon either of them.

Both the Incubus and the Succubus are historically the medieval explanation for various sleep disorders. With a lack of understanding of psychology, neuroscience, and medicine in general, they attributed a wide range of sleep disorders to these "demons."

To my experience, any such encounter with either an Incubus or a Succubus is a figment of one's imagination or an internal manifestation or, in very rare circumstances, an external manifestation of one's imagination.

So what you're trying to say is that when you summon an incubus, encounters with it are merely figments of our imagination so that the outsider cannot see it?

In times gone by, if a young girl became "accidentally pregnant" she would claim,"It was an incubus!" A boy's "wet dream" would be "a succubus". They are, as said in the previous post; "figments of the imagination". Good excuses, though, in those times of "belief in anything supernatural".
But,if you wish to believe in such "entities", just remember that a belief does not make it true!

What I'm saying is much along the lines of what Brysing said. In addition, they were also an explanation for sleep apnea, sleep paralysis, and night terrors... And pretty much anything you might want to blame on a demon of sleep and seduction.

They are myth rooted in convenience and ignorance, that can sometimes manifest as a thoughtform when people are ridiculous about them.

Incubi and Succubi were also "created" for when a man or woman would cheat on their spouse. For example if a woman were to get pregnant, she would blame it on a Incubus.

Purely fiction.
