Communication limit!?

How long does it take for your communication limit to reset!? Need help!

About an hour. In the mean time try clearing out your default folder.

I did on my other account I cleared my default folder and it's been 3 days when I mail someone it says communication limit reached :/

If it has been days and you have been unable to mail or post it's very likely your account was gagged.

A gag is when a moderator silences your account, preventing you from mailing chatting or making forum posts, due to you having broken some rule here on the site.

Yes, as far as I know there is certainly a message limit in this website, which is relevant for all of the members of this site, at least the ones who use the mailing system and enjoy the services.

It seems like there is some confusion about this feature, and I see the confusion growing up from day to day.

Id like to explain about it for a bit in order to get some understanding here.

The message limit is basically reached when a specific account had sent a bunch of mail messages through the sites mailing services during exactly one hour, depending on their type of account (what the account is meant to serve, either position). For example, I have heard before that coven leaders (the high priestess and the high priest of a specific coven) and other positions have higher mail limits (the ability to send more messages during an hour, or another exact period of time) due to their business and importance of positions (sending messages might be a necessary thing for them due to what they do).

If you can no longer send mail and message people and have gotten the mail limit reached, it means that you have sent the number of mails youre allowed to send per exactly one hour.
Dont worry if you reach it, this limit is only temporary and it will probably end up and be lifted after about one hour of waiting and not being able to send mail and message people.
And if you do reach this, do not try to send mail to people. If you keep trying to send mail and message people while youve reached your message limit, the time of waiting will be reset and you will have to wait at least another hour until your account can send mail messages again, and so on. This feature was probably invented in order to keep away people who are willing to spam the mailing system and abuse the mailing services. The best thing to do in order to avoid this is not to send people messages just to say Hi. ;)

Pet put the communication limit on the site so that members dont spam members. I actully like it. if you have reached your communication limit try cleaning out your default folder, if that does not work it takes atleast one hour to reset.
