Mentaly Ill or not???
By:
Post # 1
Basically my mum thinks I talk to myself when in reality it's actually me talking to a spirit that's constantly with me :/

1. Does that make me mentally unstable or is it common for spiritual people to do? (I basically talk to them like I would with my friends or family)

and

2. What could this spirit be? Is there anything I could do to properly find out? (I know for certain they're not a bad spirit though as anytime something bad happens I feel like they are comforting me...or they warn me that something bad may happen)

It doesn't make you mentally unstable. At least not in my opinion. People talk to spirits all the time, so it's rather common; more than given credit for. But I can't tell you if you are mentally off or not. That's something a professional would have to determine.

Since the spirit makes you feel comforted and even gives you warnings it may be a guardian spirit of some sort. If you really want to find out just ask the spirit questions concerning who it is and why it hangs around you. Be polite about it.

As long as you're overall mentally and emotionally balanced (otherwise sane) then its perfectly fine. May I suggest speaking to this spirit in your mind instead of outward? It won't gain unwanted attention. In order to do this, you need to think of the spirit you wish to talk to and then talk in your head. If you have trouble doing this naturally, another way is to see your words as energy and visualize it traveling to the spirit and settling around their ears or circling their mind.

Sometimes you may find yourself mouthing their words or your own. But if someone looks at you oddly, you can merely claim that you're singing a song to yourself.

As for what the spirit is, its a spirit! Duh! Haha, seriously does it really matter? That's like asking what ethnicity someone is. It makes no difference as to "what" they are, its "who" they are as an individual that matters. If you really want to know more about him/her just ask! It sounds to me that he/she may be your guide(s).

If it only happens at home, then you may have a friendly house spirit, they tend to gain attachment to the owners and protect the home. And when the people move, they move with them. House spirits are usually reclusive and feel safe inside a home around people they know and insecure outside of the home, as well as hide when "strangers" come to visit.

You can talk telepathically to spirits. They can understand and hear you because they can hear your thoughts, and they can talk telepathically back to you. You don't need to use your mouth to talk to them.

@999Naruto999-
Yes. I need to find ways to help increase my ability more, and to know if it's not just me unconsciously making it up, or if it's spirit. I just need to stay real and not over-exaggerate. Message me :)
