I have heard many about this book...but some people called it a grimoire, and other called it just a religious text, who are true?
and if it a grimoire...what is the evidence? and what is his magical topic-purpose-dimension?and how to use it?

It's not a grimoire. At all.

It's biblical apocrypha describing the vision that the prophet Enoch had of the Apocalypse, of purgatory, and of the fallen angels.

You can buy a copy of it at Barnes and Nobles. I own one.

It's only about 160 pages. Small text. Single spaced.

Don't get over excited about it. It's not that great.

There is something called Enochian Magick, based off the Book of Enoch. I've looked into it before, though never did much with it. There are articles here on SoM that talk a bit about Enochian Magick, as well as some forum posts. Use the search bar in the top right hand corner if you want to read about it.

The Book of Enoch itself is interesting- but that's about it. If you've never read it before, perhaps take the time to.

I've studied Enochian magick. It's mostly summoning, sort of like high magick. Alchemy, communion with the 'divine'. Meditation, higher self work. All that hooha.

Maelstrom is correct.

The Book of Enoch isn't a grimoire, as said by Mael it is more biblical apocrypha material.

It's originally a Jewish book based of the ramblings of Enoch, the son of Jared, which is a little obvious since his name is incorporated in the title.

The book contains about five main sections.

The Book of the Watchers (1 Enoch 1 – 36)
The Book of Parables of Enoch (1 Enoch 37 – 71) (Also called the Similitudes of Enoch)
The Astronomical Book (1 Enoch 72 – 82) (Also called the Book of the Heavenly Luminaries or Book of Luminaries)
The Book of Dream Visions (1 Enoch 83 – 90) (Also called the Book of Dreams)
The Epistle of Enoch (1 Enoch 91 – 108)

The first parts of the book basically describe the descent of 'the Watchers'. The remaining parts of the book narrate Enoch's visits to 'heaven' in the form of dreams, visions etc- things of that sort; and his revelations.

I agree; it's not something to get too amazed over. I wouldn't call it 'great.'
