Nice entity

Is there a spell or ritual that can help me conjure a good entity that will help me with my magical practices or help me open my psychic channels?

Well there are rituals that call upon the angels of the christian god to help protect/bless your space in magic (LBRP, LBRH). You can call on spirits for aide, but that is simple invocation. This can be done by speaking their name, a simple call for help from the divine. I am sure there are other methods though. Just remember if you want help, it is better to ask for it then to demand it :)
