According to your profile you are fourteen years old, and have been practising magic since June. You have a long way to go without bothering about Brass bowls!

Okay, this is one of those myths that grow over the centuries. It concerns a tale that King Solomon had a brass vessel that contained 72 demons(or 52,or 62; pick a number)whom he forced to work for him, and to build the famous Temple of Solomon. It is simply nonsense. The architect of the temple is well known,Hiram Abiff. The temple was first planned by King David, the father of Solomon. He, David, drew the plans before he died, and also gathered the workforce to build the temple. It was intended to house the Ark of the Covenant. Material for the building came from many countries, a great deal of it from Tyre. The King of Tyre was a great friend of Israel, and paid a lot of the expense.
You must not take much notice of the Goetia. Mostly it was myths and legends, and then edited by Aliester Crowley who put his own two pennorth in it!
There are many such stories about "magic", and witchcraft. Most of them were written to keep the inquisitive away from the real knowledge! This is why Alchemy was so secretive.
Don't believe everything you read, nor everything you see! Most of it will not be true!
