um hi i know that mermaids arent real but ive been sining the siren song and i cant get out of my head and i would like some help on this subject but maybe its my irish background where the legend origanated from please help

its a song that reminds you of your childhood, psychologically speaking, and you like the memories. its just your subconscious. its not weird at all. especially if you family sings it...

The subconscious part of your brain is a very weird and strange place, not to mention amazing. It may be that this part of you're brain might have liked the song so it kept remembring it, or perhaps its' just you holding very much to it with your hopes that it triggered the want and desire in your brain. Either way, nothing is magical about it and certainly not involving mermaids.
