i have percerbed that alot of the spells on this site are coiped from a book called wizardology, wich is a total fake!
ex:http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/unclassified_spells/unclassified_spells/8224/page.html exact same thing from the book
TheNewbie, it would be to difficult for the mods to test EVERY spell that is submitted, because first i think the coven should test spells and not the mods, with the covens doing it it would decrease how much spells to be tested. Also i think spells should have a comment section, to warn if it is fake or not :D
The comment section would certainly be good. Better than misleading people. Especially, new people. Me being one of them. I'm not as green as some, but I'm most certainly far from knowing a lot.
Is Wizardology that book that goes with that correspondence course for wizardry? I forgot the name. I just remember coming across something on the internet one day where if you enrolled in this correspondence course and paid them around $70 they would send you this nifty book that would teach you a modernized version of the sorcerer's apprentice methodology, where...instead of being taught by a sorcerer in person and sent out on quests to gain knowledge...you would read stories and I think figure out puzzles in this book that would give you the same end result knowledge as you would have gotten long ago from actually...questing.
Anyone asking payment for a spell is a fake! They are after your money!
A spell is harnessing (often without success!) your own energy with that of the Earth's energy, and trying to "influence" or change a situation. Not very easy by merely reading!
No, Wizardology is from the series of books as the same as Dragonology, which is not supposed to be taken seriously.
Its a kids series I actually really enjoyed as a kiddo. :)
