Tarot Deck

Hello everyone. I have just bought my first tarot deck, i am not sure how to start with them. I want to be able to read messages that may come through from spirits. And if i ask a certain question to the cards? How do i read it??

If you have any suggestions or a information that would be great. I also bought the white rider tarot deck. I really feel a strong psychic connection when i read or look at them.

Well what you want to do is get used to the feel with the cards. You can do that by giving yourself some readings or other people you know.

Tarot cards are not very good with spirits, you can try scrying if you want to talk with spirits. You can try out water in a bowl for that. I don't advise Black Mirrors, they are too strong for you now. I also don't advise ouija boards. They summon spirits at times, but you have to send them back yourself.

first off spend some time getting to know and memorizing the traditional meanings of the cards, as well as your own personal meanings for them. also spend time learning what the elemental dignities of the cards are, the geneder of them and about the technical things like significators and reversals. while you may not use some of the technichal things, it is always good to understand what they are.

secondly you need to learn a couple different spreads. again, while you may not use them in every day readings, i find that they are good tools to learn how to apply situations and specific questions to cards.

Well I have 2 tarot decks and I learned that if somebody buys you your first deck there more powerful

there is actually alot of debate on using used tarot decks. traditionally i was taught that a deck will be more "powerful" if it is given as a gift, but that you should not use decks that have been handled alot by other people because that deck has become connected to them and will not work as well for you.

now, i feel that the strength of the readings from a deck comes from how connected the reader is to that deck personally. and has nothing to do with who owned it first or where it came from.

Well actually these are not used. There brand new and ive really felt a connection with them. I know that the tarot deck kept calling me and i new i had to find the right ones and so it was the white rider deck. I know its something easy to start out with.
