Funnily enough, my spirit animal is an owl. I found mine years ago before i knew that i could cast spells. The way it happened was interesting. I was asleep and my dad and brother were watching the sky. An owl sat on top of a grain silo at the granary we lived across from and started calling for me. According to my dad, it was glowing pure white, so i knew it was a spirit. After they saw it, it flew to me and settled inside my body. Now my spells are powered by my spirit animal.
well, i think ive narrowed down mine to two animals...the serpant/snake and the cougar. They still havent appeared in any of my dreams and theyre kind of fuzzy in my meditation, but i think the cougar is most likely because thats the one i cant stop thinking about...
What happens if you get your spirit animal wrong? Is that even possible?
Some Call them animal totems because you can have as many as you like. some may have one some may have 9 but they will all be connected in a higher power.
Mine are and owl and wild rabbit.
Sounds as though yours is a cougar. And you could get them wrong i guess but it sounds as though you won't. Mine is the panther and eagle, as well as a few minor ones that are often replaced.
Yea, i think its mainly the cougar, but the snake has also had many appearances in my day to day life. Last night i had a dream with animals (which i normally dont) which consisted of snakes, crocodiles and dophines >.> I think the dolphines definately out of the question, but i dont know....too many animals are popping up, i can't tell the difference between just normal encounters, or real communication
whats a shadow totem, power totem, and those things...?
Ive heard of those and like other terms for them, but
1. How can you tell the difference (as in detecting which animal is which totem and such)
2. What IS the difference?
Maybe they were in your dreams because you have possibly been thinking of them lately.
There is no difference between totems other then the animal itself. I do not agree with clan totem, shadow totem, etc.
