What else?

Hey, guys. TravisSykes here and I've got this question that's bugging me.

Can I use something else OTHER than incense? Or, maybe a certain type? As an example, if the spell called for cinnamon incense and I didn't have anything other than some cinnamon powder in the kitchen, could I use a candle that has a similar scent, like macintosh spice? I'm in desperate need of help.

Yeah, It's ok. Many ppl use substitutes or whatever seems on hand like that for many different spells and everything turns out ok. Remember, a good number of things in magick are only options, and can be switched around and changed for the witches individual wants and needs.

It depends on what role the incense was to play in that spell, some spells call for the incense to carry your message.

If the incense does not have a specific role then its no problem leaving it out.

if all you have is cinnamon powder you can use a charcoal tablet to burn the powder as an incense. As for the candle part, you can, so long as you consecrate the candle and charge it for just the purpose of replacing the meaning of the incense.
