Ouija Board

Hey everyone

I've read several articles and info about the Ouija board. On Wikipedia it says that the board was designed as a prank game: one or two friends are in on the joke, another isn't. They all place their finger on the pointer thingy and asks questions. The friends who are in on the joke then move the pointer around and the other friend, who doesn't know about the prank, thinks that it is real.

A few of my family members told me that they played with the board or saw someone playing with it when they were kids and that it was more than just a prank, its real.

On Youtube there are a lot of videos of people playing with the board and then the pointer starts moving without them even touching it. In a lot of these videos people move a magnet under the table so that it looks as if the pointer is moving by itself. Then there are other videos where you can actually see that the pointer is moving by itself and that no one is moving it at all.

I've read on many places that only bad spirits talk to people through the board and that makes it dangerous.

I've never used an ouija board, and I'll never play with one. I don't mess with things that I don't know much of.

So what is everyone's opinion on this topic?

Blessings

My view on the Ouija is that it is just a tool. People always notice the bad over the good because they don't always realize how good they have it, be it health or hauntings. A lot of people who use Ouija are expecting something freaky and so they draw those type of spirits (who are likely to shove any nicer spirits out of the way of communication). I always put up a circle of protection and I have never had any malevolent spirits come through.

There is also the collective consciousness phenomenon where everyone sort of gets in sync and 'makes up' an entity. This happens easier among friends and people already in tune with each other. If you are just using it as a game and you /know/ you are moving it yourself then that is all it will be to you. Like people forcing pendulums to swing. You need to detach from what you want or expect to hear and just let the energies that come move whatever tool you are using.

In short, I believe the Ouija is real. You can use anything as a channeling device but our subconscious connects much more easily with something showing the alphabet and clear means of communication. For example, if I set some people in front of a ''kokkuri-san'', the Japanese equivalent of a Ouija board, and these people don't know a bit of Japanese and I ask them to use it to communicate with a spirit, they won't get anything if they are trying to force the connection. It'd be a wonderful experiment, to see what messages they get but if they are already adverse to the Ouija, Kokkuri-san will just seem like a page of gibberish.

The way I view it is.. u should use proction all the time when dealing with spirits or somethign you don't know. Because you don't know if that something can harm you or not. So with me I put candles particularly white candles on the four sides of the board before playing it. And yes.. the ouija board is real..

it's real, some people thinks it's a game, but if you just use the board without knowing who you are talking to,who knows,it could be a friend spirit,or a not so friendly spirit...People say it's evil because
1.They say so due to one of those stereotypes saying that it "is the work of the devil"
or
2.They have tried it themselves but never read proper ways to contact spirits and use the board.

The Ouija Board is not evil, however, they can be dangerous to an unskilled user. Ouija boards can prove risky to some, and serve as an open spiritual door.

I believe it is possible that some sort of entity 'wants' you to have one, and if that is true perhaps it 'wants' you to attempt to establish a contact it. As for that, I would tell you if that is true, it would be ill-advised to establish a contact with it. Least of all without someone who is experienced in dealing with other entities.

Its amazing how many posts I see about the Quija.

I have had a close encounter of it and I stress those who wish to try it for fun or curiosity I suggest you DONT! its not a toy and its very much real and dangerous..

I was lucky to come away from the experience alive (as in keeping my soul) but someone close to me wasn't so lucky..

At the end of the day it is upto you what you do I am just stressing the importance 'that its not a toy'

love and light

This is what I believe the christian god to be ( among other gods ). An entity made of energy collected by 'faith'. It's hard to draw in words, but here's my guess at it:
Everyone has their own view of god, but I'm going to use christians as an example, as I was one. If you can imagine a red circle named 'Bob'. You visualize Bob as being real, you have your own image of him, and have given him a name as well. Your faith that he has created the universe, you, and everything around you, along with believing he is always with you, will give 'Bob' energy.

Another example of this would be a poltergeist, I do believe do to stress that I've conjured up one by myself accidentally. The energy I've released could be animating objects, or it could just be me having a case of cabin fever.

The point I'm getting at is this:
You can indirectly use an Ouija board as a portal for any entity, it just matters on what your expectations are, what energies put off, and other variables.
