Expanding upon a previous post: http://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_post.html?post=849670

This post will teach you how to make a money attraction jar. It's purpose varies between bringing you cash, helping people repay their debts to you, or getting a new source of income (job, hobby, inheritance, etc.). First things first, you'll need the proper ingredients.

  • One glass jar (at least 8 oz), preferably with a metal cap.

  • One green free-standing candle (don't play with fire, kids)

  • Draw Money Oil

  • Honey, Maple Syrup, or Sweet Syrup

  • Silver Coins

  • One Lodestone or Pyrite nugget

  • Marjoram

  • Thyme

  • Basil

  • Cinnamon Candy

  • Cinnamon Sticks

  • Pine Needles

  • Sassafras Root Chips

  • Lavender Flowers

  • Violets

The bolded ingredients are must-haves. The rest will definitely help make your spell much stronger, but aren't required.

You need the jar and candle, obviously. The honey or syrup is your sweetening agent that makes you more attractive to money and financial opportunity. The Draw Money Oil can be made using a blend of essential oils or you can order some online.

Carve your name into your green candle and anoint with your Draw Money Oil.

Now write your petition. Use brown paper if you can, but white paper will do. There shouldn't be any machine-cut edges on your petition, so make sure to tear the paper around the perimeter towards you and say "Money come to me," or something like that, so long as it feels real and valid to you.

Write your petition using an ink pen. Colors don't necessarily matter, but I use a dark green ink for money-related spells. Write goal first: "I want and then add the date. Turn the paper clockwise. Then cross it perpendicular with "Draw Money to me," writing over your goal. Turn the paper clockwise again (your goal should be upside down now). Sign it with your name and birthday 3 times. Then sign it one final time across the whole petition. At this point, rub some oil on your fingers and rub the petition with them. Or anoint the four corners and the center. It's up to you. Fold the petition towards you while repeating your goal and chants. Then tie the petition with string. I like string based on the colors we're working with. Green for money, red or purple for power.

Anoint and pray over the lodestone to match your petition's purpose. Place the petition in the bottom of the jar, followed by the lodestone. The lodestone is a magnetic rock that will attract money and opportunity based on what your goal is. If you choose to use pyrite instead, that also brings in money or luck in finance.

Anoint and pray over your coins with the same oil and petition. Now offering your candy to the spirits who help you, or to your god/gods/energy, etc. Place these things in the jar.

Sprinkle your herbs into the jar. If you're using flowers, do the same. Pray over them as well. Drizzle more of your oil into the jar over these things.

Add your honey or syrup into the jar until it's completely full. Pray over your honey, add some extra Draw Money Oil just to be safe. Now seal up the jar. Once it's sealed, pray over the entire jar and its purpose. Seal it with your words, prayers, and powers.

Pray for your candle to burn with power and purpose and for success in your magical endeavors. Safely melt the bottom of your anointed candle and stick it to the center of the lid on your jar.

Now, light the candle while saying your final prayer.

Leave the candle burning until it's completely exhausted. If the candle burns out before it gets to the bottom, your spell didn't work and the spirits you're working with haven't accepted your offering. Try again and try and listen to any instructions you feel impressed with.

There you go. That's your Hoodoo Money Jar. Hope it works for you. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Forgot to mention! Alcohol! You want alcohol!

I prefer sweet alcohol that compliments the honey or syrup.

Alcohol is a preservative. It petrifies the work and makes it strong and long lasting.
