Saying a spell in a Dream

Well in my dream I was trying to say a spell that I remembered. It was hard to finish it because something was preventing me from reciting it. My throat and jaw felt tightened, making it hard to speak.

So I my real question is, can you cast a spell in a dream? (I lucid dream.)

I'm just wondering and need opinions or answers.

In our dreams we only go with the flow, we have sometype of subconcious control.

That is true, but I sometimes break from that flow and wander off doing neat things like flying or walking into the woods. Some dreams I just decide to go with the flow, like you said, to see how it ends.

About flying....I'm also afraid to fly into space in my dreams when I wander off. Maybe because I won't be able to breath and end up waking up. I dunno if anyone else tried to fly that high.

It is very unlikely that you could cast a spell in your dreams or sleep that would have any chance of working. The requirements for successful spell casting simply aren't going to present when you are dreaming, even if it is lucid dreaming.

Your throat and jaw felt tight? I would think that says more than the fact you were dreaming about casting. Dreams involving the inability to speak often indicate you feel restricted in some aspect of your life. At least that is what I read when researching dream analysis after having a similar dream.
