Teaching Magic
By:
There is a guy in my class who is really interested in magic. He has done it, but he denies it because he's been made fun of by people because of his abilities. He tries to hide his powers, but I can sense his energy; it's different from everyone else's. Furthermore, he is quiet and gets along with everyone while he is free spirited with what he thinks. He doesn't trust me because I've been trying to expose his magic that has been lying dormant for several years and he believes I'm trying to endanger him. Can anyone help make him realize I want to help him without letting anyone else make fun of him?

Let him trust you as a person first. Bonds of friendship are strong. Then let him open himself up to you. Whether one day he will trust you enough to let you teach him or maybe in time he will realize for himself his gifts i don't know, but just try to offer him support

when I had friends who were hiding I would call them a witch around people and the people around us would take it as an insult so try becoming friends and joking with him before trying to tell everyone his secret

you should try asking him first, he may take notice of your sincerity and may open up to trust you.

Maybe he is making the right choice for him. Why do you think you know what is best for him? Let him make his own choice. If you are really his friend you'll support his decision.

Shawn.
