Talismans: (from the Greek root word teleo meaning "to consecrate.")

Talismans are man-made objects consecrated or blessed for a specific magical purpose. A basic example of a talisman would be a pentacle or a crucifix, depending on your religion. The most powerful talismans are those made my the individual that plans on using it.

They can be made out of any type of material be it paper, metal, or otherwise. Below is the day, metal, and associations that can be used when crafting a talisman from various metals.

Days of the Week & Associated Metals:

Sunday: Gold - fortune, money, hope, health, and success.

Monday: Silver - dreams, merchandise, theft, fertility, and healing.

Tuesday: Iron - enemies, matrimony, prison, war, strength, and courage.

Wednesday: Mercury/Aluminum - debt, fear, loss, communication, study, and travel.

Thursday: Tin - clothing, desire, honor, riches, luck, and fortune.

Friday: Copper - friendship, love, strangers, and relationships.

Saturday: Lead - building, life, protection, and clearing obstacles.

To enchant a talisman you would charge it with the energy that you would wish it to have. For example, if you had a ring that you wished to be empowered with protective energies you would visualize and feel it glowing with that power/energy. It's also a good idea to cleanse the item before enchanting it.

The processing of charging the item usually only takes a few minutes, and you should be able to feel if it is or isn't charged. Most of my items that I've done this with tend to give off an energy.

Hope this helps.

well, I don't know what's inscribed in king solomons ring, but it was meant to exorcise demons out of peoples noses and to control demons especially the violent and angry ones, also I don't know if you could fit this on a ring but if you where this as a necklace you know a necklace talisman not a ring talisman, you you could have it to say
Abracadabra
abracadabr
abracadab
abracada
abracad
abraca
abrac
abra
abr
ab
a
then it should protect you, if you are sick wear it for 7 days without looking at it for 7 days, and you should be healed, also abracadabra was a demon of the goetia, he was a demon of health and protection as well as other things, also if you rub a comb in your hair and say abracadabra over and over again it will regrow hair, anyways that's one talisman, another necklace talisman is the talisman of faith, I think it's the mustard seed talisman it's a christian one. I am not sure if it's a mustard seed or what but something like that. Also a pentagram upside up is water earth air fire spirit pentagram and of course it's used for wicca also in the middle symbolizes tranquility and the circle around it symbolizes the power is eternal and will live eternal, also the upside up pentagram means spirit over matter, also a upside down pentagram symbolizes matter over spirit, sometimes it means negativity, also it can absorb negativity, also it can mean the elements are reversed, also it can mean fleshly desires or selfish desires, and the circle means the power is eternal. Anyways those are a few talismans, also a medicine bag is powerful too it can have anything that's close to you or has a powerful positive spiritual meaning to you, a feather is good to keep in a medicine bag it can ward of evil spirits or absorb them, a crystal can give you energy within the medicine bag or absorb some, also perfume can give off a good energy and attract good spirits to you. Anyways that's all for now, blessed be!

What source did you use for this? As far as I know abracadabra was used to help heal sickness, not protection at least from what I have read.

I too have heard that it was used to heal sickness. As the word became smaller so did the illness until finally it went away. That is what I have read about on Abracadabra.

In ancient times it was considered a word of power. It was often used to aid in the removal of sicknesses, curses, etc.

The word was written on a piece of paper, as previously stated, in the following fashion:
Abracadabra
Abracadabr
Abracadab
Abracada
Abracad
Abraca
Abrac
Abra
Abr
Ab
A

It was then worn around the neck in the hopes that the words would cause the affliction to dissipate just as the word did. When the sickness was gone or the curse was felt to be lifted the paper was either burned or thrown over one's shoulder into a stream.

While being used as an aid to cure sickness was one of its most common uses, it was not the only purpose that this particular talisman was used for.

^I would assume that this is where he found the information, though I'm fairly certain that there are several other sources from which this information might have been taken.
