Chakra Balancing

Hello everyone and welcome to my post on chakra balancing, i am currently learning to work more with my energy and chakras by doing meditation practice each every other day when i get the chance. Learning to balance your chakras is very important for spiritual work. Rather its involving magick or spirituality in general.

You always want to have a feel of balance inside yourself. Having mixed energies can cause unhealthy issues with you in life. If you practice daily meditation you will start seeing succuess with your energy chakras.

There are a total of 7 chakras in your body. You have

  • Root Chakra
  • Sacral Chakra
  • Solar Plexus Chakra
  • Heart Chakra
  • Throat Chakra
  • Third Eye Chakra
  • Crown Chakra

Having a healthy chakra is great for your body, it will help you keep from getting illnesses or sickness. If you want to learn how to balance your chakra i am here to help out. I thuoght i would give an exercise on how i do chakra balancing. Just follow these simple instructions and you will be on your way.

Mainly when i do meditation i like to have a scented incense near me, it helps me feel relaxed and smells good also. The best incense to use in meditation is dragons blood, there ae a few others as well. Such as sandalwood, Aloeswood, Frankinscense. You can use either as your please, Burning incense during meditation helps clean the room of any negative energies or spirits that might interfere with your meditation.

1st Step: The first step of chakra balancing, find a comfortable position in area where its quiet and no distractions. if you feel like working outside with nature that is a good choice for you. But find a spot that you feel will work for you. You can do chakra balancing in any position rather its indian style or laying down on your back. You can do either.

2nd Step: Now this is the time to light your incense, i know a lot of people have different views on rather or not ot use incense during meditation. I think incense dose help but you dont have to use it. After lighting your incense you have chosen. Place the incense near you. After you are in a comfortable position, its time to focus on your breathing. While controlling your breathing will help you relax your body.

3rd Step: Taking a couple of breaths in and out is important for relaxation. Your breathing will start heavy but once your body becomes more relaxed it will start to come slowly. Do this for about 15 to 20 minutes or however long you feel.

4th Step: Now this step you need to focus your energy and visualize. Visualize your chakra energy flowing from the top of your head to bottom flowing straight. Here you will see all 7 colors of the chakras. I believe chakras can be diffferent colors. but there are already colors selected for the chakras.

Colors of the Chakras

  1. Violet
  2. Indigo
  3. Blue
  4. Green
  5. Yellow
  6. Orange
  7. Red

Now start to visualize all 7 colors of the chakra, starting from the crown chakra to the root chakra. Imagine the first color appearing and spinning rapidly. Now keep doing the same step for the other colors of the chakras. Once all colors of the chakras of the colors have appeared you should start feeling a lot of tingling around your body.

If you keep practicing balancing your chakras you will become more balanced and there will not be as much energy left over. I really hope this exercise and information helps people who are beginners and little expereince but yet also helps others also. Thank you for reading my post. If anyone would like to add to my post that is fine.

Blessed Be

All around, this is a good and well presented post. However, in no way is there just a total of 7 chakras in our body!

We have seven main chakras, yes, but we also have many minor chakras located around our body. For example, in the hands and feet.

You can find info and a list of the known minor chakras in Wikipedia (Wikipedia isn't always reliable, so don't limit yourself to just using it as a source of info on this subject.), under where it gives a description of the main ones. Scroll down, and you should see the subheading 'Minor Chakras.'

I'd also like to add that gemstone correspondences of the chakras can aid in balancing them out.

Although your post is nicely made, I personally do not agree with messing with chakras. Just as our physical body compromises and adapts due to experiences and condition, so does our spiritual body. It has its own natural defense systems. Removing blocks or opening what is closed without solving the problem that caused its present condition is like ripping a scab from a wound. You won't notice it right away, but it will begin to show up as problems, and the spiritual body will attempt to heal again. You see these reformed blocks or closed conditions and "repair" them again, and a vicious cycle begins, leaving you with the side effects of a metaphorical bleeding wound that cannot heal.

Bottom line, unless you're an experienced healer, you shouldn't manipulate what you do not understand. I don't work with "chakras", I do however work with the spiritual body through hands on work and journeying. If I do not understand the condition, I journey in order to discover it. From my experience there is one main--the soul. Then from that stems 2 more, the mind and emotional cores. Yes, the body is like a constellation of power points, but they all act and react differently from person to person. The way one person's spirit reacts to depression, for instance, is different than the way someone else will. Why? Because the reason for the depressions stem from various reasons based on that individuals life experience, mentality, and personality. You have to get to know who you heal and act as a counselor. Very few people know themselves truly.
