I am trying to find other witches at my school but I don't want to reveal magick to non-practitioners. Any suggestions?

I recognize fellow pagans by their jewelry and reading choices. A woman wearing an ankh necklace, along with gemstone jewelry, reading the Kabbalah...I'm putting my money on her being a pagan. I'll make sure my pentacle is showing (sometimes it sneaks into my shirt) and approach her and strike up conversation. Their eyes will fall on the pendant and then a smile forms across their face and they'll comment on it.

You don't need to wear a pentacle to scream "I'm pagan" to other's who follow the craft. I never had to say a word to anyone about my path during my junior high and high school years. I wore the tree of life around my neck, silver rings of a snake, leaves, a dragon, a moon, and gemstones and my hair was past my waist. My ears are not pierced, since I was young I have said "if I was meant to have holes in my ears, I would have been born with them". These were Catholic schools to boot. The teachers tend to stare when they thought I didn't see them, but I was a good student, so they respected me for that. The students were always kind. A few would glare, but I never minded them. When I was asked about my choices in fashion, I would just respond with "I'm an artist" which is no lie, I am.

I always hid my pentacle, I didn't want to be that bold. My friends would "joke" about me being a "witch" and I would just smile. I think they knew. I was only open with one of my friends during my teenage years, and that was because both her and her mother had interest in the occult.

I had many interesting conversations regarding religion in school, and discovered that many people who claim they are Christian, use it as a safety label, when they truly have other beliefs. I had so many people approach me!

You don't need to bring up "pagan" "magick" or "witch" ever. As long as you are yourself, you'll attract those like you or who have similar interests/beliefs. Your magick is your personal way of life, and that never needs to enter conversation.

If your Wiccan try wearing a goddess pendant without any pentagrams on it. I've never heard of anyone who is Christian and has no knowledge of the occult being able to recognize it. I was at a restaurant and the waitress who was serving me and my mom was wearing one. It wasn't until we were about to get in the car and she asked me what I was staring at that I told her what it was. You could also try wearing a necklace with a big cluster of crescent moons on it. If anyone who's Christian just asks, say you like astronomy, or something like that. If they come up to you and say, I'm Pagan/Wiccan too, I like your necklace then don't lie.
