Memorize things?

okay, im not really suggesting a spell but kind of asking if there is one. I got this thought if there is some spell used for memorizing things, i heard that people usually have to review a new word 500x to get it in their head right. Is there actually a quicker way, a better access to our memory? it might be helpful :)

Repetition is the general way to remember something. I can't think of any spell otherwise.

When reviewing, I find picturing the word/whatever while repeating its name is very good for recollection

Just quiz yourself over and over again. You will learn it soon.Remember being lazy and looking for a spell is not always or never the solution.

Writing it down helps people to memorize. The action of writing it in your own penmenship, and speaking it outloud or in your head, while visualizing it as you write, helps to store it in your long term memory by using all of the styles of learning in combination with each other.

Also using aromatherapy helps. Mint is known to help memory.

A small amount of caffeine (not a lot) helps to stimulate the mind for better memory recall. A single cup of black tea or coffee before studying does the trick. Remember one cup doesn't mean a giant size mug. Too much caffeine causes the opposite effect. One cup is one measuring cup (you can go a little over).

Studying then napping or going to bed for the night allows your mind to store what you last learned much more efficiently.

Classical or instrumental music while studying has also been proven to increase memory recall.

Meditation before studying can help to calm your mind so there is room for new information. Anxiety can actually cause memory loss, so anything relaxing is recommended.

Find out what type of learner you are. You are either audio, visual, or tactile (the do-er). Everyone has one or two of these that stands out and allows them to learn things easier. Once you realize what type of learner you are, you can research techniques to use it to your advantage.

My daughter is a "do-er" and audio learner, and I find it easier to get through to her by songs, taking her places like museums that have interactive exhibits, and having her act out whatever it is she needs to learn. She learned how to spell her name when I created a parody to twinkle twinkle little star, spelling her name in it. To this day, she sings when she writes it.

I, on the other hand, am totally visual. I memorize what I read and witness and recall it in images of those words on the page or the experiences to a point where some may say I have a slightly photographic memory. But when I listen to information, it's as good as gone in minutes unless I visualize what they're saying as they speak.

The only good a memory spell will do is the exact same principle plain meditation and confidance will. It will calm your mind and cause you to feel more self assured in what you are doing. If you really want a memory spell, go for it, but you're better off with the tips I've given you. Spells are only as good as your limits are, and if you're stressed, distracted, and trying to learn in a way that isn't natural to you, you're not going to get the most out of your study time or your schooling.

repetition is best, writing it out helps many people remember as well, and quiz yourself.

a few things you could do, one, incense while studying. i've been told certain smells will aid memory, if you believe in crystals, keep one by that helps with luck, and if there's one for wisdom that too [not a crystal person myself] finally, if this is for a test, cast a luck, or a test spell to increase your chances. but it all comes down to helping yourself and not relying on the magic to do all the work for you.
