Poltergeists

I have had some strange things going on in my house for the past week and I talked to someone, who said that I might have a poltergeist in my house. What I'm wondering is, since I'm getting so many conflicting opinions on line how often does a poltergeist turn violent? If so, what can you do about it? I've heard things like, ignore it, pour salt around the rooms that are active in poltergeist activity, burn sage, consult a priest(I don't really think a priest can do anything), and other experts. Right now I'm trying to interact with it and if it turns violent, again what do I do?

Ok, thanks but I heard banishing spells don't work.

actually poltergeists are not predictable enough to tell how often they turn violent. all the solutions given are good, especially the priest because they can ask god to remove the poltergeist, seeing as though he holds more power then it (you can do this with almost any deity). i also agree with dianawm in that it would be a good idea to perform a banishing ritual and protection ritual. who told you banishing rituals don't work, anyways?

Aren't poltergeists something that you create? o.O If not, I have no clue where I heard that. xD

If it is, you might want to speak to a counselor or a therapist to help ease your mind.

A friend's mom told me that but, she admitted that she doesn't know very much about poltergeists so, she could be wrong.

Well it might of started small, maybe a few noise's in your house that were totally explainable, then you might of thought "Maybe it's a poltergeist"

Then small things might of started moving around. Then you might of thought "It might actually be a ghost" And it got worse from there.

If those two sentence relate to your situation, you created it yourself by believing that it was there.

There is anothery story about one called "Quick silver" Who does all times of things and write's a Q on every mirror in the house and then she moves on.
