Gather Random walking

For each spell that you decide to cast out unto the universe, first take a walk; I live on a dirt road surrounded by trees so this works really well for me and is extremley effective.As I walk any item from a plant to a tree that stands out to me in color, shape, texture; even to insects such as centipedes, caterpillars, fly's etc..I gather it as i walk and i prepare the spell and ritual as i gather the items i will be using. Never take your mind off the spell the universe and positive energy, once you get home put them on your alter or boil them in a witch brew.Not the insect of course that represents life and freedom because insects are so small yet so important just like humans.set it free once done with your spell. Rocks are used in various ways from color to representation of persons you like or dislike. Try it, its fun and works

I just go with the flow when I'm making and casting a spell. I do research and look for more concrete symbolism, but if I don't feel any particular connection to it I just leave it out.

Don't be afraid to think outside the box when collecting materials for a spell; it's all about what works for you.
