I read that putting herbs in aluminum and keeping it on your person attracts whatever it is the herb helps with(ex. if you have nutmeg in aluminum foil then it will attract luck) is this true.

You can create pouches that contain herbs of specific purpose to attact whatever you want.
Never heard of using aluminum, but I have made quite a few sachet's.

And you'll smell pretty to boot!

Well the only thing I have ever heard about herbs and aluminum foil is to throw it onto a fire. If you take an herb, put some into the foil, fold it shut, and toss it on a fire it will release the herb slowly as the foil is destroyed by the intense heat from the coals. This will take some time so you might even forget that you did it when you start to smell it.

I think it worked, because I put some stuff that I found in my cabinet and I put it in some foil, and today I had a lot of luck and I put some luck herbs in there.(the reason I mentioned the cabinet is because anyone can do this, nobody know that I study this stuff, and I just poured some stuff in foil and rolled it up, then today I carried it in my pocket all day, so you can do it even if you are in hiding or whatever)

I hope your "stuff" was appropriate to the luck you were looking for. IE: you are making a puch for luck, thus you used herbs that are known for attracting it.

If you did not, and just threw stuff together all willy nilly....that's a seperate action that brought about your lucky feelings

That's a good practical trick, littlewizzard. Magic should be adaptable - good idea to use aluminum foil, quick and easy.

Many people use little drawstring bags to carry their herbal amulets in; a specific type of these amulet bags is a mojo bag. You can also just use a scrap of fabric bound around with a string.

There are also many good luck herbs found in most people's pantry and around the home: You mentioned Nutmeg; there's also Allspice, Cinnamon, Black Eyed Peas, a silver coin of your birth year, Cloves, and Thyme - albeit a very money-themed lucky charm (but who can't use that).

Yes, what Healer said is so true. You must carefully select your curios, not just add a pinch of this and a pinch of that. More is not better when creating a herbal blend.

I would never carry certain kitchen herbs on my person, for example red or black pepper.

K thanks, and don't worry I had been studying up on herbs right before that so I had the one I wanted memorized, then I just did it quickly before someone saw.
