I do not hold myself to any restricting spiritual rules... which, by definition, makes me a Chaote. I like the freedom, a constant shifting of thought and philosphy. It keeps things interesting, but tends to make one unpredictable and sometimes neurotic or indecisive.
Magic for me is art applicable through science. In fact, Peter J. Carroll said it best in Psybermagick- Stokastiko's Law: "Any sufficiently advanced form of Magick will appear indistinguishable from Science." It pains me when people treat it like hardcore chemistry, "cookbooking" formulas for spells. I strongly encourage everyone to make up their OWN spells, and break free from the conformity of modern Witchcraft. It IS your Magick; you should do what will make you happy with it.
In that spirit, my greatest hope is to create a "Freestyle" Coven, where just about anything goes within the guidelines of what works and what doesn't. This means ridding it of formality and over-severity, which means a somewhat more welcoming and less elitist environment.
I also shall not reveal my age to those who wish to judge me on my proficiency or lack of skill based upon it. There are child prodigies and adults who barely know what they are taking on with Magick, so this is an unreliable way to deduct range of knowledge or skill. I can tell you that I have been studying Magick in General for 7 years now, and it has been a great time, if I do say so, myself.
Posting on forums is unappealing to me, I prefer to talk head on with people in the chatroom (although this is sometimes... unsavory). In this way I can provide immediate advice to any who require it, either in an emergency situation or simply advice live. If for some odd reason you require help specifically from me, it would be acceptable for you to... send a message.
If you would ever like to discuss the possibility of larger-scale magical projects among a group, please feel free to message me. Perhaps we could build an egregore on a Tuesday, or protest against the Gods of war from the comfort of a circle... anything and everything really. The only condition is that if has to be fun or engaging or both. I look forward to this possibility; you're invited.
