Personal Bio

Hail Fenrisulfr, Hrodvitnir, Vanagandr! Wolf-Jotunn, Breaker of Bonds, Unbridled Chaos!
Hail to you, Beast of Burden and Woe, whose mighty jaws stretch towards the Heavens.

Viking Extraordinaire at your service. I am a Heathen in the most general sense, and as nontraditional as they may come. I study and practice Norse Paganism and Northern Tradition Shamanism, as I have been doing for several years. Spiritually, I believe personal gnosis and written lore are both important aspects of a practice to recognize.

I include a variety of deities in my studies, notably: Loki, Fenrir, Mimir, Surtr, Rindr, Angrboda, Aegir, Ran, Skadhi, Nerthus, Njord and Freyja. A large portion of my practice revolves around nature, and as such I work closely with the landvaettir and some of the more primal elemental jotunfolk.

A hall I saw, far from the sun,
On Nastrond it stands, and the doors face north,
Venom drops through the smoke-vent down,
For around the walls do serpents wind.

I saw there wading through rivers wild
Treacherous men and murderers too,
And workers of ill with the wives of men;
There Nithhogg sucked the blood of the slain,
And the wolf tore men; would you know yet more?

--

From below the dragon dark comes forth,
Nithhogg flying from Nithafjoll;
The bodies of men on his wings he bears,
The serpent bright: but now must I sink.
