Long Bio:

Hello everyone!

I enjoy writing, reading, and the sciences (physics is my favourite). That doesn't mean I'm closed off to things like witchcraft, though. I'm a third-year student at university studying computer science and a proud member of Raven's Gate coven. I am also a former member of The Dark and Light .

I first found out about the Craft and Wicca when I was 12 or 13 but witchcraft in a Christian household was a big no-no so I dropped it after a few months. I recently picked it up again in May 2017, so I still consider myself quite new and inexperienced with witchcraft and occultism.

So far (since May 2017) I've found out that I'm an omnist and omnitheist. As of August 2019 I have been a SASS (Skeptic Agnostic Science Seeking) witch. I perform rituals and practise mindfulness not necessarily because I believe in gods and spirits and whatnot, but because rituals have proven scientific benefit on the human body and mental health.

I've been brought up Christian but I don't solely practise Christianity. I combine teachings from Christianity, Wicca, Buddhism, the Kabbalah, and a few other religions/philosophies.

I have thought of veering towards the path of Christian Witchcraft. I understand that some of you may believe that those two terms are a complete juxtaposition of each other, however research has led to the discovery that some things have been lost in translation in the bible. 'Witch' was translated from the Jewish word for witch which (witch which haha) only referred to those who practised black magic.

Current practices:

  • Crystal magick
  • Chaos magick
  • Sigils
  • Meditation
  • Visualisation
  • Tarot
  • Occasional spellcasting
  • Witch bottles
  • Candle magick
  • Celebrating Wiccan sabbats :)

Past and current research:

  • The basics (as always!)
  • Pagan religions (Wicca, Druidism, Asatru, Hellenism, Kemetism, Shinto, etc)
  • Divination (Runes, Tasseography, Lithomancy, Bibliomancy, Numerology, etc)
  • Palmistry
  • Working with angels
  • Shielding
  • Draconic magick
  • Knot magick
  • Poppet magick
  • Cyber magick
  • Spirit work/communication
  • Oomancy
  • Protection magick

Planning to study in the future (any advice welcome):

  • The Fae
  • More divination methods
  • Warding
  • Aura reading
  • Kitchen witchery
  • Herb magick
  • Deity work

Don't be afraid to drop me a message. Farewell and blessed be! :)
