Restraining Lust

Ingredients

Pure white paper
A pen of black ink (a quill with black ink may be substituted)

Description

Below details the creation of a simple amulet that protects against lustful thoughts.

Spell Casting

The following should be done in a cool, dry place. On a Saturday before or at sunrise, write the following on white paper in black ink:

"DICO AVTEM SPIRITV AMBVLATE ET DESIDERIUM CARNIS NON PERFICIETIS"

Draw three black crosses beneath and above this text. After this, recite the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) three times before folding the paper up and carrying it on your person. While carrying it, the practitioner will not feel any lustful thoughts, unless they should intentionally try to conjure them up.

Additional Notes:

  • "Dico autem spiritu ambulate et desiderium carnis non perficietis" is the Latin Vulgate translation of Galatians 5:16, which in English reads "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
  • Ideally, the practitioner should meditate on their intention for three minutes before commencing this operation.
  • This amulet may be carried in anything from a satchel to a pendant, as long as it is on one's person.
