Set up the white candle and sprinkle crushed bay leaves around the candle then light it. As the candle burns cut your self, break the skin and bleed, mix your blood into the dirt and ask Huehuecoyotl to change your destiny, to unbind yourself to this fate (Or person) Take the rope or string (if two pieces tie together) and hold it over the flame and pull with both hands, as it starts to burn repeat in your head "Unbind me from my fate" or "Unbind me from him/Her" until the rope breaks. Thank Huehuecoyotl (if still bleeding mix into the dirt when you thank him) then blow the candle out.
