Casting a Circle

Ingredients Wand Description A basic ritual everyone should know. Spell Casting Hold your wand out, pointing northwards while you visualize a bright light emanating from your wand. Walk slowly in a clockwise direction as you say: "This circle is a positive field, a protective shield". Walk around a second time in a circle, saying: "This circle keeps me safe within. No harm here can enter in". Walk the circle a third time while saying: "This circle will enhance my spell- ensuring that I cast it well". Face north and trace a pentacle in the air with the wand. Do this again for the east, south and west. To open a circle at the end of sell you have cast, point your ward northwards and walk around the circle anticlockwise while saying:" I do not break this circle but the circle is undone. The spell I have cast, it has begun. Mindful of the witch’s rede, now the magic has been freed.
