Consecrate an item

A brief article that shows you how to consecrate an item of your choosing.

What you need:
- Your item of choice
- Incense - myrrh or patchouli
- A white candle
- One bowl of water
- One bowl of salt
The ceremony
Start out by lighting the incense of your choosing and the white candle as well. Keep your bowls near you.
Take the item and cover it with salt. Place your power hand over the bowl and envision a white light leaving your palm, passing through the bowl as it washes away all negative energies. Then chant:
"Blessed Lord and Lady, with salt and smoke I consecrate this tool in your name. Let it serve me well."
Remove the item from the salt, shaking off the salt as you do so. Then pass it through the incense smoke, sprinkle it with water, then pass it through the candle flame, so it goes through all the elements.
Your item is now consecrated.
